Holiday house quietly situated in a forest and between two lakes

This small and comfortably furnished holiday house with a cosy atmosphere welcomes you to spend a relaxing holiday in Backsjön, close to nature.

The detached house provides 60m2 of living space and is suitable for four to six people. The two separate bedrooms each have two single beds (80 x 020cm), with the possibility of adding two further beds. The house has a fully-equipped kitchen with a small and cosy dining corner, a bathroom with a WC and shower, and a spacious living room with access to the terrace. All the rooms have windows with a beautiful view of nature. With a bit of luck you might spot some animals from the forest.

There is a private, roofed terrace with furniture. You can try a range of adventurous and exciting activities on the nearby “Farm Backsjön” (500 metres away). Depending on the season, you could for example go on a sled ride with Siberian huskies, riding a donkey, go fishing in the big lake, experience a beaver safari, or try your luck at gold panning and so on…

The residence also has its own swimming spot and a lovely grill area, not far from the river. A further special feature of Backsjön is that tulips have been planted here. From the end of May to the end of June, the owner opens his tulip garden to visitors and offers various activities.

The town of Sollefteå with its shops, restaurants and many other amenities is about 25km away. There are ski pistes and a ski school the same distance away. From 24.12. to 15.03. you can go on husky-drawn sled rides, offered by your hosts, for a fee. And from September to April you have a chance to spot the northern lights.

    “Quiet location, clean, very cheap. Amenities simple, but perfectly adequate for a relaxing, quiet holiday.

    Ideal with children, directly in front of the terrace, there is a large meadow to play around, ball games etc.

    The landlords are very nice, so we could look around the farm. In addition to the donkeys, our children were particularly fond of the Huskies.

    Not far from the holiday house there is a public barbecue area, where firewood is also available.
