Holiday apartment on a farm, with riding possibilities and carriage rides – ideal for families with children

The farm is accessed along an asphalted side road from the village centre, which is also part of a panoramic circuit. It is cleared of snow several times a day in winter.

Here you can take time out and restore body, mind and spirit. Our farm is an organically-run area of forest and greenery, with sheep and horse rearing, at an altitude of 1000 metres, with a fabulous view towards the Bregenzerwald forest, the Allgäu with Alpsee and the Nagelfluhkette nature reserve. In summer Sulzberg offers a range of leisure activities such as hiking on well-signposted trails, cycling or relaxing at places such as the Wildrosenmoor or the Eibelsee waterfalls. You can also play tennis or golf. In winter time you can go skiing and cross-country skiing, snow shoe hiking, on horse-drawn sled rides or a breathtaking toboggan descent on the natural run.

Enjoy relaxing holiday days in the invitingly decorated and light, non-smoking apartment, which is in the attic of the house. The bathroom has a shower and a washing machine, while the WC is separate. One bedroom provides a double bed with one mattress and a wardrobe, while the other is suitable for children, with a bunk bed and a changing table. Baby and toddler equipment can be provided on request, such as a highchair, a potty and a cot. The well-equipped kitchen has a stove, oven, coffee machine, crockery, fridge with freezer compartment and kettle. The living room is comfortably furnished with a sofa, stereo system, satellite TV and dining table. Bed linen, tea towels and hand towels are provided.

The apartment has its own entrance, a living room and two bedrooms, along with a sun terrace with an excellent view of the mountain panorama.

It is possible to book carriage and horse-drawn sledge rides at the farm. There is a pony for children to ride and there are also some small animals. For stays from 3 nights, the Bregenzerwald-Gästecard is included from May to October, for free use of cable cars, swimming pools and buses. The nearest shops are in the village centre of Sulzberg, such as the Adeg Markt village shop, the cheese shop, the Lichtblick gift shop, and the butcher, restaurants such as Alpenblick, Pizze und Pasta, Ochsen and Hochsträßstüble. You can also find a bank, a doctor and a post office in the village centre, There are several swimming pools nearby, 5-15km away, for example the pool sin Oberreute, Hittisau or Lingenau, or the “Aquaria” in Oberstaufen, or alternatively you can swim in the lake, Bodensee. The owner can provide information about current events, also summarised in a brochure, such as trips to Pfänder, the local mountain of our regional capital Bregenz, the Bregenzer Festspiele in the summer, a ride with the Wälderbähnle, a boat trip to the island of Mainau, or visiting a mountain dairy and so on.
