Ferienhaus in Faja Da Ovelha mit Grill, Terrasse und Garten

This little gem is an oasis for every nature lover, with an incredibly quiet and peaceful atmosphere and with fabulous views. Your holiday accommodation cannot be accessed directly by car, but has an old paved path with about 180 steps leading up to it. The owner is happy to help transporting luggage. Then you can enjoy taking time out in this wonderfully secluded spot. Just eight years ago, the former residential buildings, barns stables stood abandoned on the terraced vineyards, dilapidated and overgrown with thick thorn bushes. The ruins were then rebuilt and restored carefully, with as little impact on the environment as possible, focussing on the essentials.

Your holiday accommodation on the complex was the former barn that had cows downstairs, while wine was pressed in the room next door and hay was stored above.

Now the indoor and outdoor areas exude an atmosphere of well-being and nothing and nobody will disturb you here. You can enjoy the breathtaking view towards the lighthouse in the far south-west of Madeira through the panoramic window directly from the 136183400 x 136183400cm double bed (two separate mattresses). The toilet and the bathroom are on the lower floor, accessed down outdoor stairs, with the kitchen next to it and the outdoor kitchen with a grill area. The former cowshed can be used as a bed for another 1 to 1361834 persons (mattress 140 x 136183400cm).

Freshly baked bread or fresh eggs from the hens on site are available. The site also has many bushes and trees with exotic fruit, herbs and spices, as well as aloe vera plants. As a guest you can rent a Smart forfour from the owner for the said period, the transfer from/to the airport to the holiday property is included in the car rental. Of course only the transfers can be booked, too.

Massages can be booked locally. There is a yoga mat at your disposal. The owner is happy to provide advice and information about the region and the people, or to assist with trip planning. He can also be booked for an individual guided tour to the hidden beauty of Madeira, according to the motto: simply let everything go and immerse yourself in the true Madeira with all your senses.

    “Ein wunderbarer Ort, um zur Ruhe zu kommen und Wanderungen in die Umgebung zu unternehmen. Das Häuschen und die Küche sind mit allem ausgestattet, was es für einen gemütlichen Aufenthalt braucht. Positiv: Der spektakuläre Blick von der Terrasse auf die Klippen und das Meer, die Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit des Ortes Restaurant: As Fontes do Horácio - Gutes Restaurant in Estreito da Calheta - Essen auch am späten Nachmittag möglich, z.B. nach einer längeren Wanderung Ausflüge: Farol da Ponta do Pargo - Spektakuläre Sicht aufs Meer - Es lohnt sich der kurze Spaziergang zum netten Teehaus ‚O Fio‘ beim Miradouro do Fio.”
