Romantic and unique holiday apartment in nature style

6.5km to Odeceixe beach but in a quiet natural area, this apartment is situated in the rolling hills between Alentejo and Algarve near the charming town of Odeceixe.

The holiday apartment in nature style offers countless natural elements in its interior. The bedroom is connected with the famous cork oak in Portugal with lovely applications from mosaic and wood. In the open combined kitchen/living room there are numerous natural elements made of stone, wood and cork. There is a bedroom with double bed (160 x 200 cm) as well as a small attic where two children can sleeps and can be accessed via a wooden ladder. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and washbasin as the hallway a wardrobe. A separate living area with three steps forms an open area with living and dining room as well as kitchen. The kitchen is simple and rustic style, offers everything what you need, a fridge, gas cooker with oven, extractor hood and kitchen appliances. In the living room there is an own designed sofa as well as fireplace / small oven which can be used to bake a cake. A washing machine can be used. Wireless internet access are available. On request a hair dryer can be provided.

The front windows offer a splendid view and access to the lovely wood deck (terrace) which is 30 m² large and with outdoor shower and a lot of place for relaxing, sitting outside or doing yoga. On the other side there is a tiled area for extra sun hours and windy days. One normally comes in via this side and you are able to easily walk to the parking space where you can park your car which is 30 metres from the holiday apartment. The way to your car is also plastered.

The hillside apartments are accessible via an unpaved road. The building has central heating. Electricity, water and gas are included in the price. If you are traveling with children then babies may sleep in the large bedroom of the parents whilst smaller children may sleep on an extra bed in the living room, and children over the age of six may use the mezzanine level.

During the day and especially at night it is so quiet you can hear a pin drop, the nocturnal animals
sing their songs and the stream that divides the Algarve and the Alentejo trickles endlessly over
the land. Apart from our houses that are built as ecologically as possible we have a beautiful
biodynamic garden that produces lovely food for you to enjoy. Great walks and strolls by the river
stream can be undertaken.

If you want some more movement but not too much you can take a bike, walk or drive to Odeceixe, a
little sleepy town where time has stood still. Around the area traditionalism is very tangible,
agriculture and fishery are one of the main activities. An area where donkeys are still ploughing
the fields and the fish is served straight from the boat onto your plate.

Odeceixe Beach is a 1st price winning beach in the huge Natural Park that surrounds it. The beach is
great for surfing, body boarding and sunbathing. It lends itself for playing lots of games and
because of its width during low tide it’s almost a round beach. The stream that runs over our land
flows into the sea. At the riverside the ocean’s waves are cancelled out and harnesses great
opportunity for families with smaller kids.

Recently the Rota Vicentina has been installed, an unbelievable experience for trekking minded
people. A trail that runs right by our land goes for hundreds of kilometres over the coastline and
partly inland as well.

    “Very nice apartment, lovingly furnished with natural materials, very good bed (mattress), great view from the terrace. Ideal for a couple, the 2nd floor for max. 2 children is rather an emergency solution. There are 3 apartments next to each other (one is still in the expansion), you can also come up with several people. Very nice and helpful landlord.
