From here you can take a bus and then a train to Odense station, which in total will take 1 hour and 30 minutes. However, if you want to rent a local hire car and be able to explore the whole island easily and with more independence, then driving from Billund to your location in Funen will take just over an hour. Driving will also allow you to stop off at one of the many sights that you may want to see in Denmark on the way to the island.
