Provence | The fields of the Provence are lit up with deep shades of violet and blue between mid-June and mid-August. A fresh scent of lavender is then laid over the landscape. Best time to travel, don’t you think?

“Shopping is no problem. In Clarensac itself you will find a very good bakery and there is a super you with wide range (nice meat department). For a spacious Intermarché (including a nice fish department) you only have to drive 5 km to Caveirac.
The cottage is ideally located between the Camargue, Nîmes, Montpellier, Arles, Uzes, Anduze, Aigues-Morte ...... one by one beautiful locations to visit.
There are many beautiful walks and bike rides possible (good basic condition is necessary). TIP 1: Cyclists better take a MTB or a cyclohybride because many unpaved roads. TIP 2: always bring plenty of water (with salt) (heat can be killing and in every village you did not find a café) !!!!!!
And yes, you eat deliciously everywhere ...
2 minuses: very many ambetante and stabbing mosquitoes in the area and very hot (for us a little too)
Conclusion: a must and we will certainly come back but probably in September, October started when the temperature is softer ..”
