    “Ein altes, an den Steilhang gebautes Dorf mit viel Charme und Kolorit. Es gibt mehrere Läden und während der Saison auch Restaurants. Zu empfehlen ist das Restaurant La Zamora neben der Tankstelle im Tal an der Straße nach Cabra.
    Zum Einkaufen sollte man eher nach Priego de Cordoba, dort lässt sich etwas leichter parken. Priego de Cordoba ist der Hauptort der absolut sehenswerten Sierra Subbetica.”

    “I Carcabuey (3 min i bil eller 20 min. gang) kan man købe stort set alt, hvad man har brug for - ellers er der et stort supermarked, som har åbent hele dagen, i Priego 12 minutters kørsel væk.

    Om sommeren er der mange lokale aktiviteter i landsbyen - alt fra motionsløb i de stejle gader til sangkonkurrence (flamingo) i parken. Der er en is-café og flere små hyggelige bodegaer/restauranter i byen.”

    “We zaten in een prachtig natuurgebied, lekker gewandeld. Ook de steden zijn bereikbaar. Je moet wel een auto hebben want het huisje ligt afgelegen. Een prachtige tuin en zwembad. Verder is er voor kinderen niets te doen.
    Met de auto kan je naar Carcabuey, ongeveer 2 km? Hier is een kleine supermarkt. Wel een leuk pleintje waar je wat kan drinken. Voor wat meer boodschappen kan je naar Priego de Cordoba, ongeveer 7,5 km. verder.
    Carcabuey is een klein wit dorpje, Mooi en schattig. Op de berg ligt een ruïne ook de moeite waard. Nogmaals; voor kinderen is er weinig te doen. (wij waren met volwassenen)”
