    “Slechte parkeergelegenheid. Voor boodschappen gingen wij naar Arriondas op3 km van het vakantieobject. Hier een prima supermarkt met goede parkeergelegenheid. Het dorp zelf is wel gezellig met veel winkels en eetgelegenheden. Wij zijn meer voor natuur gegaan (pico's de Europe) en niet zozeer voor cultuur.”

    “Voor wie gaat voor de natuurparken en de sportieve bergvakantie is dit een goede ligging, in de onmiddellijke nabijheid van de natuurparken Picos de Europa en Ponga. Het stadje Cangas de Onis biedt winkels en restaurants met voldoende variatie. Meerdere aanbieders van activiteiten als Canyoning, kano en kajak of ritjes met quads opereren vanuit Cangas. Ook taxidiensten naar populaire wandel- en toeristische plaatsen in het natuurpark zijn beschikbaar.

    De zee en stranden zijn slechts 17 km verwijderd als alternatief voor de bergen.”

    “Tornin: hier kann man eine nette Wanderung ganz in der Nähe laufen und lecker Essen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in Tornin hat es keine.
    Cangas de Onis: es gibt mehrere Supermärkte, einen richtig schönen Bauernmarkt am Sonntag, auf dem regionale Produkte angeboten werden (neben den üblichen gewerbsmäßigen Händlern). Man kann auf dem Markt vieles probieren, bevor man kauft - eine wirklich schöne Atmosphäre.
    Abends lädt die Stadt in die vielen Kneipen der Fußgängerzone ein- ohne dass man in Bars / Restaurants aufdringlich eingeworben wird.
    Es gibt viele viele Souvenierläden und eine sehr freundliche Touristinformation sowie einen Busservice in die Picos, viele andere Outdoor-Aktivitäts-Möglichkeiten - Langweilig wird es einem bestimmt nicht.

    Umgebung: Und bei schlechtem Wetter kann man - vorausgesetzt man ist motorisiert - einen schönen Ausflug nach Kastilien/Leon machen: Da scheint bestimmt die Sonne. Bei Nebel besteht die Möglichkeit, dass es auf den Bergen in den Picos sonnig ist. Da muss man in der Touri-Info nachfragen. Das Meer ist nur 30km weit weg - und es gibt tolle Steilküste unterbrochen von Stränden und Höhlen, die man erkunden kann. Wir haben uns in der Gegend ausgesprochen wohl gefühlt!”
