    “Campanet is a lovely small town with plenty of good eateries. If you’ve hired a car then it’s easy to get around and explore the island with a nice short drive to Puerto Pollenca for the beach or Inca for shopping and Thursday’s market.”

    “Campanet ist ein kleiner, ruhiger Ort umgeben von Olivenhainen und vielen Schafweiden. Es gibt hier kaum Touristen. Das Ortszentrum ist vom Haus gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Es geht etwas den Berg hoch. Im Ortszentrum gibt es eine gute Bäckerei, einen kleinen Supermarkt (einen zweiten Supermarkt an einer anderen Ecke), eine Post, einen Schreibwarenladen, bei dem man auch Zigaretten erhält. Einen großen Supermarkt findet man im nahegelegenen Inka. Dienstags war auf dem Dorfplatz ein Markt mit lokalen Produkten zu sehr günstigen Preisen. Wir machten vom Haus aus verschiedene Wanderungen: Zu einer Windmühle im Ort. Zur Tropfsteinhöhle. Zu einer außerhalb gelegenen Kapelle. Auch die umliegenden Dörfer laden zu einem Besuch ein. Die Autobahn ist nicht weit, so dass man mit dem Mietwagen - den man hier unbedingt benötigt - überall hinfahren kann.”
