    “Het huis ligt aan het strand van Callahonda, wat een kiezelstrand is.
    Geen toeristen, wel veel lokalen die veel naar het strand gaan. Plaatsje maakt een gezellige indruk. Veel mensen op straat ook ‘s avonds. Vooral veel pizza restaurants.
    Mooi uitzicht vanaf berg over Callahonda.”

    “The location of the house was excellent just metres from the beach and the sea we couldn't have asked for better , we all loved the position . Because of the time of the year (early June )
    many of the eating places only opened at weekend due to open fully the end of June , you could see at the weekend what the town would be like during the season.
    However this did not spoil our holiday as we still found bars and excellent restaurants throughout out the week . We also had hire cars and the superb road links allowed us to travel out quite easily and try the surrounding areas as well which weren't to far away .”

    “Calahonda is a typical Spanish town, it was very quiet during the week with many local people coming for the weekend.
    There were a selection of restaurants and coffee shops, a supermarket, a bakery and a handful of shops. The main shopping seemed to take place at the huge, colourful, twice weekly markets in the centre of town.
    The beach is pebble and nestled between two mountains enabling you to walk to walk the whole beachfront in an hour or two.”

    “Calahonda ist ein sehr ruhiger Ferienort mit hauptsächlich einheimischen Touristen. Es gibt einige Strandbars, Pizzerien, und weitere kleinere Tapasrestaurants. Das Preisniveau ist gut. Im größerer Supermarkt bekommt man alles, was man braucht. Bäcker und Metzger sind auch vorhanden.
    Für Jugendliche finde ich den Ort eher langweilig.
    Es gibt allerdings eine Tauchschule.”
