Spacious hacienda right by the beach with a sea view



The Centovi Dvori villa is in a pine forest right by the crystal clear water of the Adriatic on the island of Drvenik Veliki.



The villa is a modern hacienda on a 8500m² plot of land and can accommodate eight people. It consists of a total of four bedrooms, four en-suite bathrooms, a kitchen, a living room, an atrium, a balcony, a terrace and a taverna. Two of the bedrooms are directly connected to the main part of the villa and provide double beds measuring 180 x 200cm and 160 x 200cm, cupboards and dressers. The other two bedrooms have a special entrance from the atrium and provide double beds measuring 180 x 200cm, wardrobes and dressers. All the bedroom floors consist of high-quality oak that provides insulation. Each bedroom has an adjoining bathroom and consists of a spacious shower cubicle (110 x 110cm), a large washbasin, bathroom cupboards, mirrors and a toilet. The 35m² living room is the centrepiece of the building and links the terrace, the balcony, the kitchen and the atrium. It has a large leather sofa, a sideboard, an LCD TV and a stereo system. The living room offers a wonderful view to the west and south during the daytime and at night. A wide door opens onto the balcony, providing an outdoor living space facing west. The kitchen is fully-equipped with a hob, oven, fridge with freezer compartment, mixer and dishwasher. There is a kettle but no espresso machine. A washing machine, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and cot are also available.



The terrace and the balcony afford a wonderful view of the sea and are furnished with deckchairs, an outdoor shower and a barbecue. More than three cars can be parked on site. A mooring for small boats is also available.



The villa has wall heating in all the rooms, with the latest standards of technology. The bedrooms and the kitchen also have underfloor heating in addition. So it is also possible to stay here in winter or when it is colder outdoors. There is no air conditioning, but it is not necessary owing to the 45cm-thick walls and the good ceiling insulation. The villa also makes use of renewable energy. Rainwater is gathered and stored in a 90,000-litre container built for this purpose. Solar panels on the roof provide electricity and heating, as well as hot water. There is also a 750-litre hot water tank. Therefore the villa has its own infrastructure.



It is just 30 metres from the beach and 3.5km from Drvenik, with shops and restaurants.

    “To get to the house, a ferry must be taken at the festival (Trogir - Drvenik Veli). After that, it is still 3-4 kilometers from the port of the island to the house. The roads are partly unpaved. This wonderful house compensated however for each Reisestrapaze! It is perfectly located in a small pine forest and it is only a few steps to the inland bay. Here a paradise for our children. One is completely undisturbed. The house has a very good room layout, is very clean, has WLAN, a pointed barbecue place and a fantastic terrace. The landlord is very hospitable, helpful and serious.

    “Those seeking peace, is right here. Except for the noise from the planes landing at Split, but of limited than arrival almost only on Saturday, prevails here wonderful silence and pure nature.
    The house is completely alone in a small pine forest on a hillside terrace location. The steps to the small private beach (pebble) are a bit steep, but are not a problem. We had two dogs that have felt so right in the pine woods and the beach. Access to the house is via a 3 km long sandy road and has to cope with any normal car driving slowly.
    The house itself is very clean and functional. The rooms and bathrooms are 1A. Towels, bedding, toilet paper were asked in the House for all rooms sufficiently available.
    Only the Wi-Fi did not work so well and we had to partially rely on the supply of our 3G smartphones. But this is to be brought under landlord in the coming weeks through a provider change back in order.
