Narrow alleys with the small and beautiful houses of Messenia nestle up to a medieval castle that is picturesquely extending to the sea like a sharp triangle on the southern Cape of Messenia. Two of the most beautiful beaches of this region are bordering to each side of the village. In southwestern direction of the charming village centre the Zaga beach is extending along the coast.
The holiday houses RIGOTIS, JORGOS, MAGIA-KORONI and ANASTASSIA are scattered on a huge family property between oleander bushes, vines, olive and pomegranate trees in a beautiful hillside location above the sea.

The small holiday house RIGOTIS with a wide sea view lies in the front part of the property between vines and olive trees, approx. 30m behind the holiday house RIGOTIS 2 and approx. 30 m in front of the house JORGOS.

The detached house RIGOTIS 1, completely renovated in winter 2019, is slightly elevated, access via approx. 5 steps, quiet and idyllic, in rural surroundings, above the fine Zaga sandy beach. Heart of the house is the beautifully designed, large and partly covered terrace, with sea views, which will certainly become your living room. The interiors with high ceiling give the holiday home a pleasant width and certain charm. From the terrace you enter a small hallway with a semi-open kitchen on one side and a bedroom (without door) on the other. The kitchen leads to the closed bed room and the bathroom. The renovated, brightly furnished holiday home RIGOTIS 1 is equipped with fresh accents and offers the right setting for a carefree family holiday close to the sea and nature.

There is a nice footpath across the nature property and the bordering fields that leads to the fine sandy beach of ZAGA in a distance of approx. 450 m (via some steps).

This holiday house is ideal for you if you like to spend your holidays close to a village and have short ways to run necessary errands, but yet you want to live in a quiet surrounding close to nature. The close-by picturesque village Koroni with its port scenery, taverns and cafés make a nice change from the quiet location of this holiday house.

Especially charming are also the towns of Pylos and Methoni on the western side of Messenia. There are also many untouched beaches on the coastline between Koroni and Pylos.

    “Although the houses are romatically located in the vineyard and next to the olive trees the place is outdated and frequented by insects. The facilities, except for the massive fridge, were poor (no heating, shower in the corner of the toilet, broken windows, not very well closing doors, kitchen only to be reached via the porch, 2 pit stove on gas-bottle). The owner was unaware of our arrival and had the clean the place before we could enter.”
