The property PETRA MARE with pool is located on a large, well-maintained lawn property near Triopetra in the south of Crete where you have a wonderful view across the Lybian Sea. The name „Stone Sea“ refers to the main components of the property. The property consists of two duplex houses in solid construction and two more stone houses with a shared pool and a wonderful sea view.
The duplex houses PETRA MARE are built in a distance of 10m between them and the two-storey detached house is approx. another 40 to 60 m away. At the boundary of the property there is one more detached house. Each of the duplex houses PETRA MARE has one large and one small half. The large, enclosed garden and lawn property PETRA MARE is overgrown with trees, plants and flowers of the typical Cretan flora. The 50sqm oval pool (approx. 5 x 10m and 1,20 to 1,80m deep, non-heatable, in operation from 1.05.-31.10.) with sunbeds and parasols is a refreshing and relaxing area on hot days for all little guests and grown-ups as well.
The comfortable and tastefully furnished duplex half PETRA MARE 2 is slightly offset to the duplex half PETRA MARE 1. The duplex half has two floors and a roofed, wind-sheltered entrance terrace. On elevated ground floor, 7 steps up from the garden, there is the stand-up kitchen with table. The next room is the bath and the bedroom with direct access to a private roofed terrace with a beautiful view of the garden and the sea. From the kitchen you get to the entrance terrace. On the first floor there is a bathroom and a large bedroom with a private, roofed terrace, where you can enjoy a wonderful view across the Lybian Sea and the surrounding coastal landscape. The house is also bookable during the winter months on a monthly basis.
Secluded tranquillity, Mediterranean country idyll, a charming coastal landscape, magnificent sandy beaches and a very clean sea is what you can expect in this part of the southern coast of Crete. The distance to the next village Akoumia is about 10 km. The distance to Spili, where you have a wide choice of shopping facilities is approx. 20km. About 2km from the holiday houses on the large beach of Triopetra are some tavernas.

    “Wunderbare Lage, wenn man Ruhe und Entspannung sucht. Der Blick auf das Meer ist herrlich. Wir hatten den Pool fast immer nur für uns.
    Die Wohnräume und die beiden Terrassen sind geräumig. Die Küche ist einfach, aber ausreichend ausgestattet. Ein großer Kühlschrank hilft die Vorräte unterzubringen.
    Die Bäder sind etwas klein. Da die Duschen nicht abgetrennt sind, wird der Boden beim Duschen nass. Bei den dort üblichen Temperaturen trocknet es aber auch wieder schnell.
    Ein Auto ist notwendig, um zu den Stränden und zum Einkaufen zu kommen.”
