There is a terrace facing south west, which is excellent for sunbathing and romantic barbecue evenings. You can undertake excellent hiking tours in the magnificent landscape of this region. The contemplative Hou has a good beach, which is only a few minutes drive from the house. Shopping streets in Aalborg are also located close by. The east of Vendsyssel has many activities to offer, particularly for families with children.
