This cosy cottage has a fireplace in the living room. In addition to the two bedrooms, you can also sleep on the sofa in the conservatory. You can enjoy your holidays to the fullest on the beautiful, open terrace. Your children can play in the garden. The secluded plot is partially fenced and is very close to a wonderful sandy beach with dunes. Odsherred is one of the most beautiful holiday areas in Denmark and is known for its enchanting and varied scenery. The Klintebakkerne hill on the coast is located within easy reach. In this area you will find many galleries and artisans. The Dragsholm Castle dating back to the 13th century is believed to be haunted by a white ghost. Nykøbing Sjælland is just 4 km away from the house and offers a rich shopping experience. The cosy pedestrian zone has many specialty shops and cafes. You can go fishing on the coast and catch Pollock or Plaice. Odsherred has a unique geological structure and is a UNESCO designated Geopark. Along the burial mound street, you will see remnants of the Stone and Bronze Ages, the remains of an old forest village abandoned 300 years ago in Ulkerup and the Hempel Glass Museum. In the Odsherred Museum you will find a replica of the sun chariot that was discovered in the moors of Trundholm Moses. You can also take a look at the Lommesten rocks as well as the castle of Naesholm Borg located on a small island in Lake Nygård Sø and situated between Hojby and Nykobing Sjælland. In Odsherred there is also a nature school, where you can catch seafood, go on butterfly safaris and expeditions organised in the forest as well as troll and fox hunts. The nature reserve Hovvig, a renatured wetland, is home to a rich bird life.
