The Merchant’s Apartment is situated on the second floor with lift access. It’s location and layout make it ideal for business or pleasure.
The Merchant's Apartment is within a modern apartment block on the edge of Glasgow's bustling city centre and is just a stone's through from the chic bars and restaurants of the city's vibrant Merchant City area.
The spacious two bed apartment is styled,furnished and kitted out to a high standard with contemporary mustards/yellows and duck egg colours used throughout to lend it a cosy, warm yet modern feel.
I'm a proud Glaswegian having been born and raised in the ' dear, green place', and my love of the city is reflected in the many artworks dotted around the apartment portraying famous city landmarks or typical Glasgow scenes.
Glaswegian's are famed for their warmth, friendliness and good humour and we hope you experience that side of our great city during your stay. Whether you're visiting for business or pleasure, we aim to make your stay as memorable and as relaxing as possible.
We provide you with a warm Glasgow welcome when you arrive and give you a quick tour of the apartment. We'll let you know how everything works and where everything is stored eg hair drier etc.
We'll also let you know where the best places to eat and drink are located in a bid to help you enjoy the very best of Glasgow.

A two-minute walk will bring you into the heart of the Merchant City social scene. A favourite bar of ours is McChuills a popular pub and live music venue which serves good pub grub, a wide range of beers and showcases some of the city's leading bands.
For families visiting their student offspring, one of Glasgow's two leading universities Strathclyde University is right on the doorstep while Glasgow University in the city's West End is just a short taxi ride/bus journey away.
In addition, the apartment is just a short walk from Glasgow Royal Infirmary for those visiting sick fiends and relatives.
If sport is more your scene, then the Emirates sports stadium, home of the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome(cycle track) is a short car/bus/taxi journey away. The Commonwealth swimming pool at Tollcross is also nearby. For football fans, Celtic Park, the home of one of Glasgow's most famous clubs is a 10 minute cab ride away.
If history and culture is your preference, then The Merchant's Apartment is set on the edge of the most historic part of the city, literally where it all began for Glasgow. The medieval 12th century Glasgow Cathedral is a few minutes walk away and just opposite is the oldest house in Glasgow, Provand's Lordship built in 1471 and known locally as the ' Auld Hoose'.
The ever popular Tron Theatre, which showcases a wide variety of productions, is a popular haunt for the city's theatrical buffs. It's again just a few minutes walk from the apartment.
For lovers of the great outdoors, the famous Clyde Walkway is just a few minutes walk away. The 45 mile/60km long route takes you from the bustling middle of the city and passes through some of the country's most spectacular and tranquil countryside ending at the scenic Falls of Clyde at historic New Lanark.
There is on-street parking but it is metered during working hours 9am-5pm.
At the end of the street lies High Street the historic heart of Glasgow and a main city centre thoroughfare served by a huge variety of buses.
High Street train station is further up the street and links to the national rail network.
We provide complimentary tea and coffee and a welcome pack can be provided for a fee if you are arriving late at the apartment.
