Located between the historic towns of Rye and Hastings, Winchelsea Sands is the perfect base to explore the region's history and attractions. Not that you need to leave the park as we have everything you could wish for right here, including a great entertainment venue (busiest at weekends and during the summer season), and an outdoor swimming pool.

If you do leave the park and go exploring you will be spoiled for choice. There are some lovely beaches nearby for those who enjoy soaking up the rays or building sand castles.

Culture vultures will love the nearby town of Rye with its castle, art galleries and wide range of unusual shops. Visit the Hop Farm for a great family day out with its waxworks and new driving school for children - beep beep!

Whether you prefer to stay on the park and take advantage of the great entertainment or would rather explore the 1066 country of Rye and Hastings (including art galleries and a castle) a visit to Winchelsea Sands is highly recommended.

PROPERTY DESCRIPTION

Welcome to Winchelsea Sands! Your holiday starts now. This holiday home sleeps up to 4 guests and consists of two bedrooms. You are also able to bring up to two pets on holiday with you for a small charge. All we ask is that you don’t leave them unattended and that you clean up after them - as all good pet owners do.


The master bedroom has a double bed with overhead storage and wardrobes for all of your holiday clothes. The second bedroom has two single beds and additional storage space.


There are two bathrooms at this holiday home so no queue for the loo. The main bathroom has a shower cubicle, heated towel rail, wash basin and a toilet. The second bathroom, situated directly outside the main bedroom, offers an additional toilet and wash basin.


The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare and cook your meals including gas hob and oven, full size fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle for that all important cup of tea or coffee.


There is plenty of seating with wrap around sofas encasing the dining table and foldaway stools. There is a flatscreen TV for when you have time to relax and put your feet up; and for those chilly mornings or evenings there is gas fire.


This holiday home is single glazed but is centrally heated property. The gas fire will ensure you stay warm on the cold winter nights. A fair use basis of gas and electricity is included in your booking. 


The Park offers multiple car parks to ensure plenty of parking for guests and spaces are available only a few minutes’ walk away..


EXTRAS

1066 Holidays provide fresh clean linen and white fluffy towels, and you don't have to worry about the making of beds etc as we dress your property for you. Please note all 1066 Holidays properties are no smoking and are self catering.

SURROUNDING AREAS

Winchelsea Sands Holiday Park is located just a short 5 min walk away from the beach, and has the most stunning views. This stony beach stretches for miles and has an ancient forest that can only be seen when the tide is out.


This property is ideal for exploring the local historic towns of Hastings and Rye being situated approximately 15 minute drive from both. Hastings has plenty to do for all of the family, from the Sealife Center, to the Amusements and Crazy Golf and the plentiful number of pubs and restaurants ensuring a fun, active family day out.


LOCAL AMENITIES

When you are feeling hungry, just outside the park you will find a fish and chip shop, a kebab shop, and a lovely pub. At the end of the village by the beach there is a cafe with parking which serves the best meals for all the family to enjoy.


If you happen to forget tea bags or milk or just fancy a little treat you will also find a well stocked Co-Op just outside the park.


WINCHELSEA SANDS HOLIDAY PARK

This park has beautifully maintained grounds with a heated outdoor swimming pool. The clubhouse has entertainment for all the family, whilst the Lobster Pot bar/restaurant offers food and drinks.The park offers great evening family entertainment during peak season (usually April-November, please call park to confirm availability of entertainment during your stay)

CHECK IN

Our contactless check-in makes arriving at your own convenience even easier. All our properties are accessed via a lock box with the entry codes being issued prior to arrival meaning no queuing at reception to check in at specific times. 


We can offer (dependent on availability) early check-in of 2pm, late check-out of 12pm, and travel cot hire. Additional charges apply, please ask for relevant charges

    „+ Sehr ruhige Umgebung
    + Supermarkt ist nur ca. 1000 m entfernt und hat täglich bis 22 Uhr
    geöffnet. Daneben ist ein Pub., 300m davor ein Restaurant.
    + 10 Gehminuten bis zum Strand
    + Wanderung bis Rye entlang des Vogelschutzgebietes war sehr schön.

    ==> Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub und können die Wohnung nur empfehlen
    Mit dem PKW besuchten wir London ( 1:50 min. bis Zone 4 Worcester Park ),
    Canterbury, Hastings und Brighton.“
