Coghurst Hall is set on the edge of the historic coastal town of Hastings hidden in a beautiful woodland valley. With family friendly facilities, a stunning fishing lake,(please note there is an extra charge for fishing) and the many attractions of East Sussex close by, Coghurst Hall is the perfect location for your holiday or short break.
The focal point of the Park is its impressive lake which is well stocked and includes some monster carp, so don’t forget your fishing rod!*
The clubhouse has recently undergone a major refurbishment so you can relax and unwind in plush surroundings. The indoor pool is unique and gives the impression you could be swimming through underground caves.
Hastings is just a short drive away and is enjoying a transformation as a fashionable holiday resort. The Old Town is a hotspot of trendy bars and restaurants whilst the traditional seaside amusements, boating lake and crazy golf course remain as popular as ever.

Oak Lodge at Coghurst holiday park
Your holiday starts as soon as you walk into this beautiful two bedroom, fully-equipped lodge based at Coghurst Hall Holiday park.
This lodge has everything you need for a comfortable break away, whether you’re spending the time with family (including the pets for a small charge), friends or a romantic getaway. This property sleeps up to four guests.
The master bedroom offers a king size bed with lots of space, overhead storage cupboards and free standing furniture. The second bedroom has two full size single beds with a whole wall of built in glass wardrobes, offering plenty of space for storage.
With two full-sized bathrooms there’s no queue for the shower. The first bathroom comprises a bath with overhead shower, wash basin and toilet with large mirror. The second bathroom contains an enclosed shower cubicle, wash basin and toilet.
As you would expect there is a fully equipped modern kitchen with everything you need to prepare and cook your meals including gas hob and oven, full size fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle. The dining area consists of a dining table and chairs overlooking the balcony at the front of the property.
The lounge area is airy and homely with its large comfortable sofa and reclining arm chairs, complete with coffee table, fireplace and flatscreen TV. There are two sets of glass doors that allow access to the balcony which wraps around the lodge, and can be a sun trap at certain times of the day making it ideal for enjoying breakfast in the morning or a cold glass of wine later in the day.
Central heating and full double glazing helps to keep you cozy and warm on those cold nights with an electric fire in the lounge for those chilly evenings. A fair use basis on gas and electric is included in your booking.
There is also the added benefit of being able to park directly outside of the lodge as it comes with its own parking space. A large garden is found at the rear of the holiday home but please note the garden is not enclosed or fenced off.

Coghurst Hall Holiday Park is located in the historic town of Hastings, which offers plenty to do for all of the family, from the Sealife Center, to the Amusements and Crazy Golf and the plentiful number of pubs and restaurants ensuring a fun, active family day out, or a nice relaxing day on the beach.
The historic cinque port town of Rye and lively coastal town of Eastbourne are within a thirty minute drive of Hastings, ensuring you have no shortage of days out. If you fancy an active, adventurous day Knockhatch Adventure park for the whole family is approximately 45 minutes away and for those loving animals you can also find Drusillas Zoo within an hour of Hastings.
Coghurst Hall Holiday Park is located within a few miles of multiple superstores for your larger shopping needs. There is a small shop onsite for those necessities you may forget or run out of.
COGHURST HALL HOLIDAY PARK
Coghurst Hall Holiday Park is a stunning old country estate set on the outskirts of hastings surrounded by countryside and natural beauty; it has a large fishing lake (license from reception is required), and the clubhouse offers food and a bar with a relaxing vibe, making sitting outside with a cold drink and taking in the beauty of your surroundings quite special. The underground heated swimming pool is amazing, you actually feel like you are swimming in caves. The park offers entertainment for all the family at peak times that are usually between 1st of April - 1st November.
Please contact the park reception directly for any enquiries about facilities, opening times and pass prices. Please note these are not included in your booking and 1066 Holidays have no involvement in any park facilities.
Our contactless check-in makes arriving at your own convenience even easier. All our properties are accessed via a lock box with the entry codes being issued prior to arrival meaning no queuing at reception to check in at specific times.
We can offer (dependent on availability) early check-in of 2pm, late check-out of 12pm, and travel cot hire. Additional charges apply, please ask for relevant charges.
