Charming refuge on an extensive site with a private sandy beach by the sea

The exclusive holiday house is in Gällnö in Värmdö, one of the most beautiful places in the Stockholm skerries.

The house is on a 250,000m² south-facing site and has ist own child-friendly beach and cliffs. There are two other houses on the site. The house is of a very high standard, with a personal touch. In summer 2004 the house was completely renovated and restructured as open-plan living space. It has three bedrooms with a double bed, two single beds and a bunk bed. Directly adjacent there is a little hut with two single beds. The living and dining room has a sofa suite, a plasma TV, an Xbox games console, and a fireplace, as well as a dining table and chairs. The kitchen is fully-equipped with a stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and freezer, and espresso machine. The bathroom is completely tiled and has a shower and under-floor heating. There is also a washroom area with a washing machine.

The new veranda with a parasol, garden furniture, heater and grill is ideal for meals together. The morning sun shines directly on the breakfast veranda. You can relax in the new sauna facility right by the beach, with a panoramic view over the sea.

You can use a fishing boat with a little 10PS motor, a kayak, a canoe, children’s toys, bicycles, fishing equipment, a big trampoline, garden games, a volleyball net and other items.

It is just a 30-minute drive or 10-minute boat ride to the centre of Stockholm. The transfer by boat is no problem, simply take a Waxholm boat or taxi boat. During the summer months there is a little grocery shop with daily essentials. There is a little café not far away and a couple of evenings a week a lovely restaurant with a bar is open. There are other shops and many sights in Stockholm. A gravel track on the island leads to various places of interest, either on foot or by bike. There are no cars on the island. The house on Gallnö is not accessible by car. You can park your car on a car park on Värmdo, then you are collected by boat by Kalsviks Bridge and taken to the island.

    “Facilities: really has everything you need, including Washer and dryer.. Bath towels available. Majority of bicycles only one gear.

    Location: Excellent playground for children with many toys. to use canoe and motorboat. Terrace around the house. From the main terrace beautiful sea view, but exposed to wind and not optimal because besonnt tree shadow. From observation deck in the morning from 09.00-10: 00 and from 17:00 no sun for shade tree.

    Condition: arrangement of the rooms very good. State okay. Outbuildings full of personal belongings of the owner.
