Holiday house with a garden in a lovely natural landscape, near the ski lifts and hiking trails

The house is in the midst of a breathtaking landscape near Annaberg in the Lammertal in the Dachstein region and it really is a little gem. If you have romantic inclinations and are seeking a special refuge or family fun, then this is the ideal place. It oozes Austrian charm and character and you will feel at home here.

The holiday house is on two floors and can accommodate five people. The traditional kitchen is fully-equipped and has a tiled fireplace stove and a dining space with a corner bench and a table. There is also a bathroom with a shower, washbasin and toilet. The upper living room has a sofa suite and a little wood-burning stove for cosy winter evenings. Upstairs there are also three bedrooms with a double bed, a French bed and a bunk bed for children. This floor has a separate toilet. The central heating is fired with pellets.

Enjoy spending time in the big garden, grilling and sitting together with a view of the mountains. There is also a roofed car port for two cars.

The house is 3km from Annaberg and 6km from Abtenau, which are picturesque towns with a swimming pool, a cable car and summer toboggan run, as well as many restaurants and shops. There are also larger supermarkets. Russbach, at the entrance to the western Dachstein ski resort, is just a ten-minute drive away and also has a swimming pool and a cable car. During the winter months it is a great family ski resort and in summer the region invites walkers and mountain hikers. If you prefer lakes then you should visit Gosausee and Hallstattersee. Hallstatt, the oldest inhabited town in Europe, owes its age to the local salt mines, which are worth a visit, or you can stroll along the paved streets and enjoy the view of the lake. The beautiful baroque town of Salzburg is just a 35-minute drive away. The Salzburgerland and Salzkammergut regions in Austria offer many places of interest and activities for active holiday-makers, such as hot air balloon rides, cycling, fishing, hiking, skiing, swimming and horse riding.

    “Very cozy old house, very well and quiet in which to live with clear English influences of the owner.
    Kitchen is to allow revision, dish fell immediately after first use and was beyond repair. So wash the old fashioned way.
