Holiday home located directly at the lake

This accommodation is located in an old mill, only 30 metres from a lake, in beautiful, natural surroundings.

The former mill, in which the house is situated, dates from 1800. In 2012 it was set up as modern accommodation with 95 m² of living space. The house has two bedrooms with two beds and one bedroom with a bunkbed, a hall and a bathroom with shower on the ground floor. On the upper floor there is a spacious living room with a fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven, refrigerator and dishwasher. There is also a TV, a comfortable couch (sofa), two sleeper chairs and Wi-Fi. Thus, there are sleeping possibilities for 8 people in the house.

Enjoy the beautiful view from the balcony to the nearby lake. There is also the possibility of going fishing here. A fishing permit is required. There is a small sandy beach just 500 metres from the house.

The basement also has a spa. This is not included in the rent, but it is possible to also book this. In the spa you will find, sauna, cold bath, hot tub, showers, a toilet and a relaxation room.

The house is located about three kilometres from Alingsås. It is a beautiful little town with many old buildings, and several bars and restaurants. There are vast forests in the surrounding area with mushrooms in abundance and many elk too. Two other fishing lakes are nearby; one about 300m away, and the other around 3000m away. There are plenty of hiking trails. The house is about 45 kilometres from Gothenburg.

    “The house is beautifully situated away from the road, the rushing waterfall never bothered us. It is tasteful, modern, everything was available, which one needs. The wellness area

    “Best ever holiday home after 22 years of annual vacation in Sweden !. Beds by Swedish standards super (am 1.94 cm tall and weigh more than 100 kg!) Facilities also very good. With excellent internet access and the wonderful spa area. Location on the private lake fantastically. The small waterfall was felt by us as not disturbing. Neither the close Reichsstrasse 180, since it lies in the west of the estate and tourist center east oriented. The owner Thomas is very friendly and approachable!     “A very nice, well maintained and Swedish standards top modern house. Kitchen, living area and bedrooms are very well furnished. The spa area is again a class of its own. The owner is friendly and very accommodating.
    For fishermen it is important to know that, one may begin only 3 kg trout per week. Pike and other predatory fish are free and can be as much as one wants to be taken out of the reservoir.
