Between the hills around Pisa is Rivalto, a small town in the municipality of Chianni, where this cosy holiday home is for rent. You can easily reach numerous famous Tuscan cities from the quiet agriturismo, or also simply enjoy a day by the sea.

The small completely detached stone house dates from the early 19th Century and stands on a hill in the small quiet medieval village of Rivalto (93 inhabitants).

The house has a large double bedroom and a children’s room with two beds. In addition, there is a play area available for all ages and a sofa bed in the living area with two extra sleeping spaces. The accommodation is equipped with air conditioning, a washing machine, a fridge and freezer, an LED satellite TV, and a fireplace.

The outdoor area is designed to be very inviting. A wellness pool with massage jets, a stone grill and a loggia for outdoor dining encourage you to linger here.

Since the house is completely fenced in, it is ideal for your four-legged friend. Your pets are very welcome.

Just 100m from the house, you will find a family-run bar / restaurant where you can try typical Tuscan cuisine, a butcher shop and a grocery store. About 1 km away, you will find a public swimming pool and tennis courts in a beautiful location surrounded by olive trees.

Casciana Terme is 6 kilometres away; this town has been well-known for its hot springs since the time of the Roman Empire, and it is now a tourist centre with a spa. 20 km away is the medieval town of Volterra, the distance to the famous medieval village of San Gimignano is 30 km, while Pisa and Florence are 35km and 50km away.

If you follow a picturesque road on the opposite side of the hill for about 35km, you will reach the sea with the villages of Castiglioncello, Vada and Rosignano (province of Livorno).

There are many historic monuments and Roman churches to visit. The village is charming with its surrounding hilly landscape, and is also famous for its culinary gastronomic tradition. The dishes with wild boar, the "king of the macchia", are particularly recommended.

    “Beautiful stone house with pool in a fantastic location. It's all there, what you need, we lacked nothing. In the kitchen everything is there, even with a dishwasher.
